Policy Specialist at Clayton Early Learning in Denver

Clayton Early Learning, the Colorado Children's Campaign and EPIC have received a grant to work on early childhood policy and advocacy in Colorado. Under this grant Clayton Early Learning is establishing a Early Childhood Policy Specialist position to support the identification, review, and analysis of key federal, state and local policies that impact child outcomes in the period of birth to age five, and children's transition to kindergarten. This position will report to the President and CEO of Clayton, and serve as a member of the Clayton program planning team. The Policy Specialist will work closely with early childhood policy and advocacy staff at the Campaign, and serve as a subject matter specialist in support of EPIC's Executive Director. The Policy Specialist will also prepare grant progress reports, position papers and other material under direction of the grant leadership team. This is a grant funded position, with current funding for two years.
