Child Care Licensed Lead Teacher - Full Time/Seasonal - Breckenridge

The Child Care Licensed Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a welcoming first and last impression. This position starts at $12.00 per hour. This indiviual will be responsible for exceptional experiences for the children and guest centered communication with all parents. This individual must be capable of working in a team environment.

Additional responsibilities include(but are not limited to):
Administers quality care and exceptional experiences for guests - children and parents
Maintains accurate records of daily schedules for each child Is able to problem solve with sad and difficult children while remaining calm
Communicates effectively with co-workers, parents, and supervisors; provides effective and thorough check-ins and check-outs with employees and guest parents including report cards for each guest child
Conduct child observations daily and lesson plans weekly
Capable of working in a team environment; including flexibility of working at other child care centers when needed
Maintains a safe and comfortable environment
Contributes to the daily tasks for the center including cleaning schedules, dishes, laundry, etc…
Occasional front desk and phone coverage

Requirements:
Must meet education requirements according to Colorado State Child Care Licensing Rules & Regulations for Early Childhood Teachers; contact CDHS for more details
Colorado State Early Childhood Teacher Qualified
Experience working with children ages 0-5 years old in a licensed group (4 or more) setting is required
Fluent in English required
Changing Diapers required
Flexibility & On call shifts
