Community Wellness Coordinator

Summary: The Community Wellness Coordinator will be responsible for the outcomes and objectives as outlined in our work to: Engage health professionals in our early childhood planning processes, Explore and document the under addressed and unaddressed health needs of young children in our community, Explore and document the gaps in the early child health services in our local community, Ensure that our work addresses the ethnic/racial/socio-economic health disparities among young children, Identify systems change outcomes to support our work and Identify and engage local health systems to contribute to our work within the health and mental health outcomes defined under the Colorado Early Childhood Framework http://earlychildhoodcolorado.org/inc/uploads/CO_ECFramework_chart1_r8legal.pdf. This individual should have a strong understanding of the foundational pieces of the early childhood framework and be able to understand the overall early childhood system as it pertains to coordinating a system of care for young children and their families.

Start Date: August 1, 2012

Salary range $43,000-$47,000, based on related education and experience. Includes health benefits, 401k, paid holidays, paid vacation and sick leave.
